BioTop AR tanks collect and store water and wastewater. The design can provide for process-water storage, wastewater accumulation, flow balancing or a fire-water reserve.
Purpose and construction
SWP means spiral-wound pipe used for the tank housing. Depending on the project, tanks can be horizontal or vertical and installed above or below ground. Storage and flow balancing are separate from wastewater treatment.
Selection and installation
Selection starts with working volume, incoming flow, required reserve and connection elevations. The design takes account of soil, groundwater, anchoring, cover loads and access. Material compatibility must be confirmed for the intended liquid.
Operation and maintenance
Inspect covers, connections and seals. Keep inspection openings accessible and follow the cleaning and maintenance schedule. The specification of the selected tank and the project determine its operating conditions.
