Biological treatment system Biotop-Home is used to collect and treat domestic wastewater from individual residential buildings, cottages, low-rise buildings in the absence of a centralized sewerage system. The wastewater treated at the station can be diverted to the terrain, drainage ditches, stormwater drains. Facility meets all standards environmental safety and does not produce harmful emissions into the atmosphere and soil.

The Biotop-Home biological treatment plant operates according to the technology of pre-denitrification in completely offline mode. Waste water enters the receiving chamber, which acts as a denitrifier and is equipped with a removable basket for catching large household waste. Then the water enters the aerobic aerotank – nitrifier with activated sludge, in which the oxidation of organic matter and the process of nitrification take place. The aeration tank is equipped with a tubular aerator to maintain the required level of dissolved oxygen in the water. The circulation of all liquids in the station is carried out with the help of airlifts. Recirculation airlift – a type of jet pump. It consists of a vertical pipe, into the lower part of which, lowered into the liquid, gas (oxygen) is introduced under pressure (using a compressor). The emulsion formed in the pipe (a mixture of liquid and bubbles) will rise due to the difference in the specific masses of the emulsion and liquid. The use of airlifts allows pumping small volumes of liquid by adjusting the volume with a valve on the air distribution device. At the third stage, the water enters the secondary settling tank, where, under the influence of gravity, the sludge precipitates, and the clarified biologically treated effluent is sent to the discharge. The system of two airlifts ensures the recirculation of the sludge and nitrate mixture in the system. The station operates in automatic mode and is equipped with only one compact neck, which allows for full service. After clarification in the secondary sedimentation tank, depending on the requirements, additional treatment and disinfection of wastewater can be performed. Additional cleaning can be carried out using an ultraviolet lamp (not included).
