Sorption block BIOTOP is designed for deep purification of wastewater from oil products, suspended solids, heavy metals, reducing the level of BOD and COD to concentrations allowed for discharge into reservoirs or sewage systems. Water after the sorption block, if necessary, can be sent for UV disinfection. As a sorption load, an aluminosilicate sorbent with hydrophobic properties is used. The sorbent does not absorb moisture, which makes it easier to extract the used load. The service life of the aluminosilicate sorbent is about 2500 hours of rain.
