The BIOTOP-LOS complex system is designed to treat surface rainwater and snowmelt wastewater from oil products and suspended solids. The sorbent used in the system makes it possible to additionally remove contaminants such as iron, nickel, copper, zinc and chromium that enter the local treatment plant with infiltration water through old leaking sewer manholes. In addition, in combination with a multi-stage settling and sorption filtration system, the complex system allows you to reduce parameters such as BOD and active surfactants. The treated effluent can be discharged into collectors or reservoirs for various purposes, having undergone disinfection if necessary. The selection of a suitable treatment system configuration depends on the source of the wastewater and the place of discharge.
